Get Beautiful Eyelashes With An Eyelash Growth Solution

By Connie Sears

Most women like to use make-up to improve their appearance, and often apply mascara to enhance the look of their eyelashes. After all, the eyes are often considered as one of the most important features of a person's face, and pretty eyes are lovely assets to highlight. However, women may like to try an eyelash growth solution to obtain naturally longer and thicker eyelashes so that there is no need for beauty products such as mascara.

In beauty shops both online and offline, there are products that help eyelashes to grow. These products can be beneficial to persons who have problems with this part of the eye for various reasons. There are some health conditions that could cause the eyelashes to fall out, leaving a rather bare appearance.

A health professional may be able to suggest a good product to use to help the eyelashes to grow back, or to grow thicker, but you may need to be prepared for a few side-effects. Certain products may cause the eyes to be red and itchy. It may also be wise to select a product that has been recognized by certain trustworthy authorities, such as the FDA, or U. S. Food and Drug Administration. Within about four weeks you should notice a difference.

Sometimes a more natural solution is preferable, and there are a few things one can do to enhance their eyelashes without purchasing products. However, regardless of what sort of substance is applied, it is recommended to first take off all make-up. The eye area must be clean and free from all impurities. Make-up may also prevent eyelashes from growing as it dries out the hair follicles.

By ensuring that you are taking in sufficient vitamins is another good way to get your eyelashes to grow longer and thicker. Vitamins A, B, D and E are all known to enhance the condition of hair follicles. You can eat foods that contain these vitamins, or you can apply a Vitamin E oil to the eye area. This can be done at night once you have taken off your make-up.

Castor oil and olive oil is known to help as well. They can be brushed or rubbed onto the eye each night to assist eyelashes to grow, and to remove dirt that could cause problems. The oils can be washed off again in the morning.

Another popular home remedy is petroleum jelly. Brush the jelly from the roots through to the tips at night and wash it off again in the morning. You may even find that the very next day you have more beautiful eyelashes, but results are generally noticed within two weeks of nightly applications.

Although you don't want your eyelashes shorter, by trimming them you actually stimulate their growth. Try to just snip off a tiny bit at the very ends; there is no need to cut them off completely. Even though many people find home remedies to be quite effective, there are times when a prescription eyelash growth solution is required.
